Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Almanac, you enter into a legally binding agreement with STARDUST GLOBAL MANAGEMENT L.L.C-FZ. We may update this Agreement at any time. Changes take effect for new users immediately and for existing users 30 days after posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use one copy of the App on a device you own, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or sell the App or its components
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove copyright or trademark notices
• Use the App to build a competing product

All rights, titles, and interests in Almanac remain with STARDUST GLOBAL MANAGEMENT L.L.C-FZ and its licensors.

3. Age Restrictions

• Services are intended for users 18 years and older
• Users 13–18 may use the Services with parental consent and supervision
• Users under 13 are prohibited from using the Services

We reserve the right to request age verification at any time.

4. User Content

Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible for content you add to Almanac (audio, text, YouTube links, etc.). You represent that:

• You own or have rights to the content you upload
• Your content does not infringe third-party rights
• Your content complies with our Acceptable Use Policy

License to Us. By uploading content, you grant Almanac a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it solely to provide the Services to you.

Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use the App to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Spread misinformation or malware
• Circumvent security measures
• Violate any applicable laws

5. AI-Generated Content

Almanac uses AI to transcribe, summarize, and answer questions about your sources. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI responses are not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.)
• You should verify important information independently
• We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content

6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions:

• Are billed through the App Store (Apple) on a recurring basis
• Auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Can be managed in your App Store account settings
• Are non-refundable except as required by applicable law

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in Almanac is owned by STARDUST GLOBAL MANAGEMENT L.L.C-FZ. "Almanac" and associated logos are trademarks of STARDUST GLOBAL MANAGEMENT L.L.C-FZ. You may not use them without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALMANAC AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate this Agreement. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your license ends immediately.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
